(Insert interesting tagline here)
This is "that poop app" - a journal for tracking exactly three things: what you ate, what you pooped, and how it made you feel!
Why bother, though? Forget nutrition and dietary science for a sec. "that poop app" is about pleasure and making memories - experiencing the flavor and feelings of food and poop alike.
This is important when "600 calories" is a number you'll forget next week, but margherita pizza is light and sweet, and a weighty, smooth poop feels like bliss.
So, download "that poop app". Because fresh San Marzano tomatoes are calling your name. Because your gut is ready to leave a monster log behind at the airport. And because you want to feel the freedom of being human.
Take a pic of your food, or yes, of your poop. Why? Because icons log the log, but you won't remember it a week later. One-handed controls mean you can log from anywhere: a mundane Monday at home, or squatting down on Mount Everest.
Write however you feel, and whatever comes to mind first. "Ugh, that was rough" is more useful than a number you'll never revisit, and it's honest with yourself.
Not sure what to write? Add a tag (or three) instead. It's a low-stakes way to practice identifying the components of what you ate and pooped, and makes searching later much easier.
Your entries never leave your device by default. But if you need to share clinical data with a doctor or dietitan - or revel in the feeling with a friend - you can generate a PDF, PNG, or ZIP in seconds.

Remember the savory chicken dinner from your parents' house, or that fresh ikura sushi in Hokkaido? You won't if it's hidden behind an obscure calendar of dots, or in a graph of oversimplified metrics. "that poop app" stores your history as raw images and places you've been - because when you can vividly remember how good something tasted or felt, you want to experience it again. And that creates the foundation of long-term health.

TODO: add Claer cameo as image
Want to learn more about your gut? Claer, a talking toilet-android, stars in the app's reference book. It's designed to tell you more about eating better, pooping better, and feeling healthier - without making you think you have 50 diseases or judging you for eating fries. But of course, you're also welcome to read it as social commentary from the perspective of a robot. Probably.

Poop (and even food) pics are private for many people. So, "that poop app" is secure and hard-to-track by design, regardless of whether we (or someone else) "agree" to keep things private.
Plus, our privacy policy is designed for humans - not just lawyers - to read and understand.
Our full privacy policy, annotated →Even though "that poop app" is memories and experience-first, there's still a lot of research and thinking behind the app. We wrote up the full argument: why diet advice falls short, what the neuromorphological divide is, and why poop is actually a great feedback source.
